Invariably, this time of year inspires feelings of renewal; it’s too bad all the sleet, wind, snow and dark nights don’t. I’m sure many of you are faced with dry skin due to cold temperatures and indoor heating. Thankfully, I’ve been introduced to a number of products that have gone a long way to solving this exact problem.
Glamglow’s Youth Mud Mask draws out impurities and exfoliates the skin to reveal glowing skin underneath. Admittedly, I’ve always been a bit suspicious of scrubs particularly those with lots of ‘grit’ in them. I have acneic skin and have been told that these types of scrubs aren’t ideal for me. So when it came time to wash off this mud mask I was especially careful to not scrub too hard. It did a great job in taking away my visibly dry skin from my forehead, chin and nose area which I was pleased about. Another bonus? The French sea clay helps to tighten pores so for a 10-minute treatment this mask is a multitasker as well.
Available through Sephora at $69 it is a luxury beauty item so I’m using mine sparingly – once or twice a month – so I can enjoy it for as long as possible.
